Your Kingdom Come

The Lost Sheep Matthew18:10-14

‘With a little child standing amongst them, Jesus told the parable of the lost sheep to teach that we should not look down on children and that we should be just as concerned as our heavenly Father is that none of them should be lost. The world today is a difficult place for children and young people. At school they are subjected to humanistic teaching and asked to take part in religious festivals of other faiths. Growing up in an atmosphere of divorce, one-parent families and step-parents, they suffer rejection and insecurity. They come across drugs, sex, violence and the occult. So unless they are firmly rooted and grounded in Christ, it is very difficult for them to say “No” to these things.

Our heavenly Father is not willing for any of them to be lost. Be diligent and pray for the children you know. Set them an example, feed them with the Word of God and, above all, love them as your Father does.'                                                                        [by permission Every Day with Jesus]
