Commemorate 100 years since end WW1    Sat 10 Nov

Hope For The Middle East

Thurs 22nd November at 10.30am        Parish Centre

You are invited to a coffee morning with a difference!

Andrew Kawalek, a speaker from Open Doors UK, is coming to Carlton in Lindrick.
In 1955, during the Cold War, a young Dutchman started smuggling Bibles to the persecuted church in what was then the Communist Eastern Bloc. His work led to the founding of Open Doors, an international organisation that has supported persecuted Christians worldwide for over 60 years.
Many of you will remember signing a petition to the United Nations last year on behalf of the Christians in Iraq and Syria. Come and find out what effect this petition has had and the practical ways in which we can continue to help our persecuted church family, particularly those in the Middle East.
Free event starting with refreshments
